This is Piltati, the place of Wanampi Kutjara Tjukurrpa (Two Serpent Men’s Creation Story). The men travelled from Walkatja to Tjitipiti. After that they went on [to] Piltati. The two women were sitting down sharpening their digging sticks. They lay them in a line. Then they began to dig. The circles in the painting are where the women were sitting and digging. This area is their hunting ground. They are digging for snakes, for food.
