Kapi piti mankurpa (three rockholes).This country is Kata Ala. This is my family’s place in Western Australia. Mina tjunu manta unrigu ngarinyi (the water is underground). Minyma manta tjawaningi (the women would dig for the water). Tjawara utilpai, manu ungutja tjikinma (they would dig into the sand and drink the water). When I was a child I used to sit down in this country.
