Learn, in greater detail, about the works in the exhibition. All works are accompanied by explanatory texts and 30 of them also have audio tours to listen to.

From here you can browse the works by artist and view them by the groupings or 'rooms' that you would view them in when visiting the exhibition.

Worksheets and trails

These self guided worksheets have been designed to be used in conjunction with a visit to the exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia. It is intended that students work in pairs when responding to the questions contained in the worksheets whilst they walk through the exhibition.

This section displays works accompanied by an audio track, providing a rich context to each work. The main audio tours are accompanied with a transcript of the audio track.
