Roberts produced two portraits of Florence Greaves (1873–1959), known later by her married name Florence Turner Blake. She was an artist and one of Julian Ashton’s first students at his Sydney Art School, as well as a former pupil of Roberts. She exhibited with the New South Wales Society of Artists in Sydney. She was the daughter of W.A.B. Greaves who owned Newbold station, north of Grafton in New South Wales, where Roberts painted A mountain muster in 1897.
