Dion Boucicault (1859–1929) was an actor–manager, born in the United States of America. He arrived in Australia with his father in 1885. In 1886 Boucicault joined Robert Brough to form the Brough and Boucicault Comedy Company, which produced plays in Melbourne and Sydney. Boucicault went to London in 1897 and did not return to Australia until 1927.
