Having enticed major artists of the day to his print workshops, Kenneth Tyler orchestrated the move from printmaking as a minor artform to a leading visual practice. Many of the artists were breathtaking in their innovation and technical virtuosity in a revitalised era of printmaking in the latter half of the twentieth century that has been labelled a ‘print renaissance’.
