Timed entry tickets

When purchasing tickets you will be asked to select a date and session time. Sessions are hourly from 10am. Limited numbers can enter during each session. This minimises or negates queues and offers an enhanced viewing experience once inside the exhibition.  The Gallery closes 1 hour after the last session.

Tickets can also be purchased by calling Ticketek on 132 849 or in person at the National Gallery's information desk from 10am 7 days a week.

  • Open until 9 April 2012
  • 10.00 am – 5.00 pm every day,
    final session entry 4.00pm (except Christmas day)
  • Saturday nights from 10 December 2011, open until 7.00pm,
    final session entry 6.00pm (except Dec 24 when closes at 5pm, final session is at 4.00pm)
  • Friday nights from 20 January 2012, open until 7.00pm,
    final session entry 6.00pm

A great idea for Christmas!  Buy a Renaissance Gift Voucher and the receiver can then choose when they want to attend. 

Tickets with lunch

Enjoy the complete experience with a ticket to Renaissance and a 2 course lunch in the Sculpture Garden Restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday. First select a date and then choose the 12 noon session with lunch or the 2.00pm session with lunch.
