Conference bursaries
The NGA, as organisers of the National Visual Art Education Conference (NVAEC) 2019, with the support of AEA, AEV, VADEA, VAESA, TATA, QATA and AENT are offering bursaries to one participant from each state and territory to support their attendance to the conference.
This is a measure introduced to enable greater equity and access to the conference for individuals for whom the cost of travelling to and attending the conference would be prohibitive to their participation.
We also value the potential for a community of art teachers from across the nation to be fostered at the conference. We have therefore worked with art teacher networks in all states and territories, as well as Art Education Australia, to build into the bursary a mechanism for professional learning from the conference to be shared with others in the relevant home states and territories
Thank you to AEA, AEV, VADEA, VAESA, TATA, QATA and AENT for their support in covering the cost of registration.
NGA's contribution is toward travel and a conference dinner ticket.
